Classroom equipment

All projectors in the classrooms are working.
Additional equipment to enable hybrid classroom teaching in 20 rooms is being installed.
As soon as the equipment is installed and tested, we will warn the instructors.
Classrooms of the ground floor support HDMI and VGA, but only the VGA cable is available in the room. To use HDMI, you need to ask for a HDMI cable at the building entrance.
Classrooms of the 1st floor support VGA, and the VGA cable is available in the room.
If the computer only supports HDMI, the instructor must bring and use an adaptor.

Any questions regarding classroom equipment should be communicated at the building entrance or, by email, to ge-tagus@tecnico.ulisboa.pt.

Individual kits for teaching

At the building entrance, there are individual kits containing pens and an eraser to be used with the whiteboards.

Spaces

The maximum capacity of spaces (as well as the shuttle) has been reduced, taking into consideration the social distancing rules and the ventilation.
There is an announcement at the entrance of each space, informing the corresponding maximum capacity that should never be exceeded.
The maximum occupancy of each room is limited by its dimension and by the ventilation capacity. The ventilation equipment must always be turned on.
When the room reaches its maximum occupancy, the ventilation must be turned on at full power, independently of the existence of windows to the exterior.
In certain rooms, besides being mandatory to have the ventilation turned on, it is also required to open the windows.

The ventilation is calibrated in extraction mode. This means an additional noise that cannot be avoided due to the current pandemic situation.

Rooms have been assigned to all classes, including remote ones. Students who must be in the campus may attend those classes in the corresponding rooms. In addition, students may also use other rooms that are not being used or the library, for that purpose.

Hygienization

At the entrance of each classroom and library, there is an alcohol-gel dispenser. In the library, there is also some hygienization material that can be used to clean your workspace.
Additionally, the various services/labs may require hygienization material at the Office Supplies.
Classrooms are cleaned twice a day.
